“i promise i’ll be back, haku. you can’t die.”
It’s kind of weird to discover different editions of books you know.
Píccolo Presents: Picture Party featuring Forest and Waves
Who made it? Canadian studio Forest and Waves.
What is it? Illustrative linens that depict idyllic-looking landscapes and maps. Owner and designer Edward Juan says that “we hope we can inspire you to collaborate with nature, indoors and out.”
How was it made? The linens are hand printed and hand sewn in studio.
What do we like about it? We love that these products are inspired by nature (Edward says it’s the best designer!), and the graphic, bold stylings of these illustrations. The limited-color palette and shape design gives it a vintage feel.
Where would this look best? The larger fabrics are actually furoshiki and can be used in several ways; wrap precious things in them, use them as a scarf, and more! We imagine the smaller linens would look great in a kitchen.
Where can you find this? Their online shop (made with Big Cartel for the curious!)
